Off-plan properties made up 60% of Dubai sales on 28 October 2026, with 275 off-plan deals against 181 ready deals, according to Dubai Land Department (DLD) data. Ready sales were worth more in total, at AED 592.6 million against AED 547.2 million for off-plan.
The split: more off-plan deals, more ready value
The day's 456 sales were worth about AED 1.14 billion in total. Off-plan led on the number of deals, but ready homes led on value.
| Segment | Deals | Value | Share of value* |
|---|---|---|---|
| Off-plan | 275 | AED 547.2 million | 48% |
| Ready | 181 | AED 592.6 million | 52% |
*Calculated from the DLD figures above.
Dividing value by deals gives an average of roughly AED 1.99 million per off-plan sale and AED 3.27 million per ready sale. These are our own calculations from the DLD totals, not a DLD statistic. The gap suggests the ready market included larger-ticket transactions on the day.

Activity against the previous week
DLD data puts the average for the previous seven days at 493 deals and AED 1.52 billion a day. The 456 deals recorded on 28 October 2026 are about 7% below that deal average, and the AED 1.14 billion value is about 25% below the daily value average. These percentages are our calculations from the DLD figures.
What it means for buyers
- Off-plan is the majority of deals, not of value. A 60% deal share does not mean 60% of the money.
- Areas differ sharply. Off-plan ranged from 13% in Business Bay to 100% in three areas, so a citywide split says little about one location.
- Prices per sq ft vary widely. Medians in these areas ran from AED 919 to AED 3,356, so compare like with like.
- One day is a snapshot. Check payment plans, handover dates and developer track record before committing. Our off-plan project directory lists the details we hold.
