Dubai Evening Wrap 28 October 2026: 456 Deals, 7-Day Total AED 7.29bn

Dubai Evening Wrap 28 October 2026: 456 Deals, 7-Day Total AED 7.29bn

Dubai recorded 456 property sales worth AED 1.14 billion on 28 October 2026, according to Dubai Land Department (DLD) data. Off-plan made up 60% of deals (275 transactions), while ready property took a slightly larger share of value. Over the last 7 days the market logged 2,456 deals worth AED 7.29 billion, also 60% off-plan.

Today in numbers

  • Deals: 456
  • Total value: AED 1.14 billion
  • Median price: AED 1.51 million
  • Average price: AED 1,681 per sq ft
  • Off-plan: 275 deals, AED 547.2 million
  • Ready: 181 deals, AED 592.6 million

Off-plan led on the number of deals, but ready property led on value. That means the average ready sale was larger than the average off-plan sale today.

The 7-day picture

The last 7 days add up to 2,456 deals and AED 7.29 billion, with off-plan again at 60%. That averages about 351 deals and roughly AED 1.04 billion a day. Today's 456 deals sit above that daily average, and today's value of AED 1.14 billion is slightly higher too.

The 60% off-plan share is the same today and across the week, so today did not change the split between new-build and ready sales.

Largest sales of the day

All six of the largest transactions were ready property:

  • AED 34.0 million: commercial property in Jumeirah Islands, 10,780 sq ft
  • AED 23.7 million: commercial property in Jumeirah Islands, 12,529 sq ft
  • AED 20.0 million: residential property in Mirdif, 44,725 sq ft
  • AED 15.22 million: 2-bedroom flat in One Za'abeel, Zaabeel First, 3,026 sq ft
  • AED 15.0 million: commercial property in Jumeirah Park, 9,965 sq ft
  • AED 13.5 million: residential property in Wadi Al Safa 3, 8,730 sq ft

Three of the six were commercial sales, which can lift the daily value total without reflecting typical home prices. The day's median of AED 1.51 million is the better guide to a typical sale.

What to take from it

Off-plan activity remains concentrated in a handful of areas, including Dubai Maritime City, Dubai Investment Park First and Jabal Ali Industrial Second, where all deals were off-plan. Price per sq ft varies widely by area, so compare like with like. This is market information, not investment advice.
