Location: Wadi Al Safa 5

Wadi Al Safa 5 is an inland community in Dubai's Dubailand district, away from the coast. Buyers usually look at this part of the city for newer, planned residential areas rather than the beachfront. Check the drive times to your workplace, schools and the main roads before you buy, as these matter more than the map name.

Weston may suit buyers who want a new-build home inland, and investors who want to enter at the start of a project's life. It is not a fit if you need a home you can move into soon. See other launches in the area on our page for off-plan projects in Wadi Al Safa 5.

Construction progress and handover

The DLD register shows 0% progress, with construction due to start in August 2026. Expected completion is Q4 2028. That date is the developer's registered estimate. It is not a promise, and dates can move.

Before you buy, it is worth checking:

  • That the project is registered and has an escrow account (project number 4519).
  • The handover date written in the Sales and Purchase Agreement (SPA), and what happens if it is late.
  • The payment schedule, and whether instalments are tied to construction stages.
  • Updated progress figures on the DLD register as building starts.

How to buy off-plan in Weston

  1. Get the price list and payment plan. Both are not in the register, so contact Dani for current prices, availability and floor plans.
  2. Reserve a unit. You pay a booking deposit and sign a reservation form. Check what is refundable.
  3. Sign the SPA. Read the handover date, payment schedule and default terms carefully.
  4. Register with the DLD (Oqood). Off-plan sales are registered in the Oqood system. The DLD fee is 4% of the purchase price, and there are smaller administration fees.
  5. Pay into escrow. Under Dubai law, buyer payments for off-plan units go into a project escrow account that is regulated, and the developer can use the funds only for building the project.

Foreign buyers can purchase property in designated freehold areas of Dubai. A purchase worth AED 2 million or more may help you qualify for a Golden Visa, subject to current rules and conditions, so confirm eligibility before you rely on it.
